New Hotels in Greater Palm Springs

For the loyalists out there, brands like Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, J.W. Marriott, Hilton, Kimpton, Ace and Best Western are among the many national and global chains that have a presence, but if you are
after something new and shiny, we’ve rounded up the ten newest and grooviest hotel openings in this desert oasis.

AutoCamp Joshua Tree – AutoCamp has opened a new luxury campsite in Joshua Tree, California, with stylish accommodations in sleek Airstreams and glamping tents that is a cross between a boutique hotel and luxury glamping getaway.

Sensai Porcupine Creek – Set within the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Rancho Mirage, Sensei Porcupine Creek is set to open in mid-2022, Sensei Porcupine Creek will be a luxurious boutique resort offering spa, nutrition, and movement programs similar to
those found at Sensei Lanai, the company’s original
location in Hawaii.

Fleur Noire – This adults only boutique hotel consists of 21 uniquely designed casitas, bungalows and suites surrounding an iconic Palm Springs pool. The property features graphic floral wall murals by internationally renowned artist Louise Jones. The property opened in late 2021, however a new addition in January 2022 saw a new speakeasy champagne and rosé bar named La Boisson.

Descanso Resort – If you love the colourful vibes of Saguaro then you’ll adore its new brother property, Descanso. Descanso, a newly refurbished, completely reimagined men’s resort in Palm Springs, features spacious rooms and a welcoming Hollywood Modern vibe bring a fresh perspective to your next desert getaway.

Margaritaville Resort – Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs, the highly anticipated first resort on the west coast, is a tropical oasis just minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The resort includes 398-rooms, Margaritaville-inspired dining options and St. Somewhere Spa (Palm Springs’s largest resort spa).

Casa Cody – Reopened in mid-2021 with significant restorations, the romantic and historic Casa Cody Inn is the oldest operating hotel in Palm Springs designated as a Class I Historic Site featuring adobe hacienda architecture. Its décor is inspired by Santa Fe and other desert cultures with 28 ground level units, many with private patios and fireplaces.

Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort and Day Spa Oasis – Opened in 2021, Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa Oasis offers a unique desert experience (and very unique Himalayan salt rooms). The resort offers 22 spacious Spa Suites with private in-room mineral spring tubs, with magical, healing water drawn out of the earth, and cooled underground.
