The perfect time of year to go to Ishikawa is spring, where temperatures are mild but nice, the hottest weather is June through to August.
Ishikawa is located by the Sea of Japan and is best accessed by Hokuriku Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo, which takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Two airports available in Ishikawa are: Komatsu Airport and the other one is Noto Airport.
From Haneda airport on a domestic flight, it takes about an hour to fly to both Komatsu and Noto Airport.
Ishikawa is famous for its natural environment and culture, with beautiful sightseeing spots and incredible Japanese food, as well as the famous Gold Leaf that is produced there.

Wajima Taisai Festival
The Wajima Taisai Festival is a series of four high-energy events held on four consecutive days in Wajima every summer. The festivities involve spirited processions of portable shrines called mikoshi and towering lanterns called kiriko. The kiriko, carried by dozens of people and adorned with local lacquer, are staples of summer festivals throughout the Noto Peninsula.

Hyakumangoku Festival is a massive yearly festival that celebrates the riches of Ishikawa and Kanazawa, through the first weekend of June. This festival is a chance to experience many traditions that have been handed down from the era of Kaga domain.
