Put your taste buds to the test at the Louisiana Gumbo Festival in the heart of the “Gumbo Capital of Louisiana.” Across the weekend, volunteers cook nearly 500 gallons of authentic Cajun gumbo, from seafood to chicken and sausage. Enjoy lively local music, carnival rides, a Sunday parade at 10:30 AM and a live auction at 1:00 PM, celebrating Louisiana’s culture, flavour and community spirit.
