Running from June 20 – August 31, 2025 – Franklin Square transforms into a glowing wonderland this summer as the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival returns through August 31. Step into a pop-up storybook filled with over 1,100 handcrafted lanterns – from dazzling dragons to vibrant marine life – all celebrating Asian culture, heritage and nature.
