The tourism industry is very fast-changing, however one aspect that has remained constant is the need to develop and foster great relationships with a huge multitude of stakeholders. Whether Gate 7 is pitching for new business, or helping a current client streamline their strategy to suit the constantly evolving Australian and New Zealand markets, we strive to build and maintain open, collaborative, and personable relationships with each important stakeholder in any project.
Throughout my career, I have worked in various sectors of the travel industry, from my start as a pilot, through a range of client-facing roles with Gate 7, to my current leadership role as General Manager of the agency. In each of these roles both with and without Gate 7, I have seen the importance of developing strong, flexible and trusting relationships with co-workers, clients and partners. Internally, I work to ensure each of our client representatives has access to the best tools and processes available to achieve the best outcomes, while at the same time, working alongside our clients to turn our strong relationships in to winning partnerships.
