Les Fous Du Carnaval
Established in 2022, Les Fous du Carnaval in New Orleans boasts 100 participants, featuring vibrant marching groups such as Flora and Fauna, the Goddesses, and the Hellarious Wingnuts, accompanied by lively brass bands. Rooted in the French term “Les Fous” meaning “The Fools,” the group embodies the playful spirit of Carnival season. Known for their elaborate costumes with whimsical designs, they epitomize the Mardi Gras essence.
The parade kicks off at Chartres and Frenchman streets, proceeds along Royal Street, turns onto St. Philip Street, and concludes at Decatur Street, culminating in Jackson Square.
