Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival Returns

Franklin Square will come alive with colour and culture as the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival returns from 5 June to 16 August 2026. Celebrating the Year of the Horse, this year’s event features all-new illuminated lantern displays, including sculptures inspired by Philadelphia’s major international events. Visitors can also enjoy live cultural performances, a fountain light show, Asian-inspired cuisine, signature cocktails, mini golf and carousel rides, making it one of the city’s most dazzling summer experiences.
